Okay so we all love our mummas right? They gave birth to you, you probably live with her, talk every day and of course have your disagreements occasionally(often). But you love her and she loves you<3. And she will always have your back, and she wants whats best for you but how well does she actually know you? No one can mind read but I know pretty much all of my friends know me better than my mum.. when she doesnt let you out after dark or go to a certain party or something, she's doing it because she cares about you, which is fine but if she really knew me, she would know that I know my limits, I know not to get into a strangers car, I know whats dangerous, I know whats safe, I know what I can and can't do. So I guess what i'm saying is let your child do what they like (to a certain extent) because they know what they're doing..
